AQSG membership connects quilt enthusiasts by way of research and community. We study, collect, and enjoy these textiles, from quilt fragments to large wall hangings, and from early traditional quilts to cutting-edge modern masterpieces. We hope you'll join us in discovering the fascinating stories and intriguing people behind quilts of all kinds. AQSG offers engaging events and insightful publications that bring quilts to life.

AQSG members are quilt lovers and makers, authors, researchers, teachers, curators, quilt dealers, collectors, and the list could go on. We offer many avenues for discovering and learning more about quilts as material objects past, present, and future.

AQSG has more than 900 members from all over the country and beyond who share a curiosity and passion for learning about quilts and their makers.  Members have access to our vast resources, find mentors, attend in-person and online events, and much more.

The AQSG membership year is January 1 through December 31. New memberships received on or after November 1 will continue through December 31 of the following year. We do not prorate dues.
